JOB SUMMARY
·Preparation and assembly of wires, cable assemblies and wire harnesses
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·Wire Preparation
oCut & Strip Wire with hand tools or automation equipment
oKnowledge on wire gauge, wire voltage and wire coloring code
oInstall wire labels and use heat-shrink gun for securing the labels in place
oInstall & crimp wire terminations such as pins, ferrules or lugs using hand tools or automation equipment
oAbility to understand our Excel "wire list" spreadsheets for
§Orientation of wire labels
§Knowing which terminations go on each end of the wire
·Cable Assembly fabrication
