Location: North Attleboro, MA

$24.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Looking for Cable Assembler Technician jobs in North Attleboro where craftsmanship and precision come together? This opportunity lets you assemble quality products using hand tools, mechanical skills, and detailed work instructions while helping keep production running efficiently. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a background in electrical panel building, cable assembly, wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly. You'll work with schematics, wiring diagrams, and electro-mechanical components while helping maintain quality standards and supporting production efficiency.

Education Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements

  • Previous cable assembly experience required
  • Experience with electrical panel building, wiring, soldering, and mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints
  • Knowledge of IPC 620 and J-STD-001 manufacturing standards
  • Prior leadership experience in a cable assembly environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead and support a team of cable assemblers to maintain production goals and quality standards
  • Assign work based on labor requirements, machine availability, and production schedules
  • Assemble electrical cables, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical components
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Ensure compliance with quality procedures and manufacturing best practices
  • Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives within the department
  • Perform soldering, wiring, and mechanical assembly tasks as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
  • Technical training, vocational education, or manufacturing coursework is beneficial.
  • Experience working with pneumatic tools, torque tools, fixtures, or assembly equipment is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality inspection procedures, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate strong craftsmanship, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Cable Assembler Technician.

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
  • Ability to maintain focus while performing detailed assembly work in a manufacturing environment.
