Job Description We are seeking skilled Harness Technicians to support the fabrication and assembly of complex cable and wire harness systems used in aerospace and spaceflight programs. This role requires the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams to perform precise electrical and mechanical assembly while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.

Technicians will work in a professional manufacturing environment with adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and FOD (Foreign Object Debris) procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble cable and wire harnesses using engineering drawings, schematics, and wire lists.
• Perform point-to-point wiring, soldering, and electrical assembly.
• Construct harness boards and route wiring for electrical and mechanical assemblies.
• Use soldering irons, heat guns, tweezers, and other hand tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and engineering documentation.
• Identify and report discrepancies in materials, drawings, or instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following ESD and safety standards.
• Work independently or as part of a team to complete production tasks.

Basic Qualifications - Level 2

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical assembly or wiring.
• 3 years of additional education and/or relevant experience in manufacturing, electronics production, or logistics.
• Ability to obtain IPC WHMA-A-620 and NASA-J-STD certifications.
• Experience reading wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.

Basic Qualifications - Level 3

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical assembly and wiring.
• 6 years of additional education and/or relevant experience in assembly, electronics manufacturing, production, or logistics.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience with ESD procedures and crimping techniques.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to obtain IPC WHMA-A-620 and NASA-J-STD certifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical Trade School graduate.
• Current IPC WHMA-A-620 or NASA-J-STD certification.
• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) for workflow and documentation.
