Description Of Services
The Cable and Harness Technician will manufacture cable/harness products by reading and interpreting Work Instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings in a team-based environment.
Duties include verifying material identification, ensuring traceability during fabrication and testing, and validating hardware quality while following ISO procedures and shop practices.
This role requires ensuring completeness and accuracy of work, communicating status and technical issues to shop leads and management, and supporting lab fabrication processes.
The ideal candidate will maintain proper material labeling and storage, identify inconsistencies or safety concerns, and perform tasks involving moderate physical effort and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
Skills/Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of additional education and/or related experience -- (Required)
Ability to read and interpret engineering work instructions and schematics -- (Required)
Must have active DOD Secret clearance -- (Required)
Ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance -- (Required)
Moderate physical capability, repetitive tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs -- (Required)
High School diploma or equivalent and 4+ years additional education/experience -- (Preferred)
Technical Degree or some college -- (Preferred)
Proficiency with hands-on mechanical assembly and electronics testing -- (Preferred)
