Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Cabinet Shop Drafter to join our team. You will be responsible for translating design concepts and architectural plans into precise, production-ready manufacturing shop drawings for custom cabinetry and architectural millwork.

Responsibilities 

• Generate detailed, accurate 2D/3D shop drawings, elevations, sections, and joinery details using AutoCAD.
• Verify field site conditions and coordinate dimensions with project managers as needed.
• Work closely with other members to verify accuracy and details and resolve design conflicts.
• Create comprehensive bills of materials (BOM) and hardware specifications for the production floor.
• Track all time spent on projects accurately.

Required Qualifications

• AutoCAD 2D drafting and 3D modeling experience in custom cabinetry and architectural millwork.
• Strong knowledge of woodworking materials, joinery methods, veneer matching, and hardware systems.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret architectural and structural blueprints and drawings.
• Prior hands-on experience as a custom cabinet maker.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail with excellent math and spatial reasoning skills. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with Cabinet Vision is an elevated plus.
• Familiarity with CNC manufacturing processes and nested-based routing.
