WHO WE ARE
Elliott Davis pairs forward-thinking tax, assurance and consulting services with industry-leading workplace culture. Our nine offices - located in the fastest growing cities in the US - are built on a foundation of inclusivity, collaboration, and collective growth. We work daily to provide exceptional service to our people, customers, and our communities. Audit and assurance services are provided by Elliott Davis, LLC (doing business in NC and D.C. as Elliott Davis, PLLC), a licensed CPA firm.
The CAAS Projects Advisory Associate helps customers solve accounting and finance challenges through hands-on, project-based advisory work. Working alongside experienced Seniors, Managers, and Directors, the Associate supports key workstreams, interacts with customer teams, and helps deliver practical solutions that strengthen accounting operations and support business needs.
Engagements may include cash-to-accrual conversions, accounting cleanup and remediation, interim accounting support, month-end close optimization, accounting process improvement, and ERP or accounting system transitions. No two engagements are exactly alike, providing broad exposure to industries, accounting environments, and business challenges.
This role is ideal for an experienced audit associate or accounting professional who is naturally curious, takes ownership, enjoys problem solving, and wants to move beyond testing or maintaining established processes into execution. The Associate will build operational accounting and advisory skills, take increasing ownership of assigned work, interact directly with customers, and develop toward a future CAAS Projects Advisory Senior role.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
This role offers the opportunity to apply your accounting foundation to real customer challenges. You will work across a variety of projects, learn how accounting functions operate, and help create practical solutions that fit each organization's needs. The work combines hands-on execution, meaningful customer interaction, coaching from experienced professionals, and a clear path to grow within CAAS Projects Advisory.
