There is no single mandatory backend programming language at this stage.
Relevant languages may include:
C++
Rust
Other modern backend/application development language

Qualifications
8+ years of experience in software development including backend and services, including in a lead or senior role on delivered systems
Experience in a server-side language, such as Java, .NET, C#, Python, or Go, including building microservices and well-designed RESTful APIs
Experience with relational and NoSQL data stores, including schema and data modeling
Experience with message or streaming platforms, such as Kafka, and containerization
Experience with frontend, such as React, to contribute across the full stack
Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized deployment
Ability to translate mission and reliability requirements into scalable, resilient service designs
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technology field, or 6+ years of experience in mission systems in lieu of a degree
