Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Buyer/Purchasing Agent to support procurement strategy, sourcing, supplier management, and contract execution activities.

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in procurement strategy, including: Planning, Sourcing, Solution development, and Supplier relationship management
• 2+ years of experience negotiating and authoring: Contracts, Terms and conditions, and Pricing agreements
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and sourcing initiatives.
• Military affiliation preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct all phases of moderately complex acquisitions of third-party and affiliate solutions.
• Consult on statements of work and sourcing requirements.
• Create and support requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Lead contract negotiations and supplier discussions.
• Design and execute sourcing plans aligned to business objectives.
• Interpret and evaluate contract provisions and terms.
• Collaborate with Legal and other subject matter experts to resolve contract issues.
• Gather business requirements and specifications from internal stakeholders.
• Consult on contract specifications to achieve savings, quality, and risk avoidance objectives.
• Develop sourcing strategies and procurement recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement, risk, and regulatory requirements.
