FieldBridge is looking for a Buyer/Procurement Specialist in Houston, TX to workf for a global energy technology company. We offer weekly pay + benefits.
Pay is $35 - $40/hour | Monday–Friday, standard business hours, office-based | Weekly pay every Friday | At $40/hr and 40 hrs/week, earn weekly paychecks of $1,600 gross.

Position Overview:
FieldBridge is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer/Procurement Specialist to manage Purchase Orders and Blanket Purchase Orders within Oracle for a leading energy services client. This role requires strong Oracle buyer-side navigation skills and the ability to manage high volume, high communication workloads across multiple suppliers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced procurement environment supporting production and repair operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in Oracle, including reviewing and validating requisitions before PO creation
- Manage Blanket Purchase Orders (BPOs), including releases, expediting, and payment follow-up with key suppliers
- Support farm-out and repair activities, coordinating with suppliers on short-cycle turnarounds
- Communicate with suppliers via email and Teams to request quotes (RFQs), expedite materials, and clarify requirements
- Navigate multiple Oracle screens to check PO history, review inventory/supply-demand data, and support planners with status updates
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on Buyer-side experience in Oracle OSCAR and/or Oracle PASCAL (strongly preferred); SAP or similar modern ERP acceptable only if candidate can clearly articulate buyer workflows
- Strong Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams skills
- Bachelor's degree, or HS diploma/GED with 4+ years of sourcing experience
- Strong organizational skills, situational awareness, and professional communication ability
- Oil & gas, aero-derivative/turbomachinery services, or MRO/repair procurement background preferred but not required
