    Description

    We are a manufacturing company in the Greater Boston area and are looking for a BuyerProduction Planner If you are looking to join a stable, long standing, profitable company in the area and sees continued growth year over year and you have background in manufacturing, supply chain, and buyer / production planning this may be the opportunity for you! As our new Production Planner / Buyer, you will:
    • Effectively plan the daily & weekly production of the Company to achieve targeted financial performance objectives
    • Work with all production, production support, sales, and accounting functions to effectively produce on target production plans
    • Send out purchase orders (POs)
    • Properly and effectively manage inventory levels for both, raw materials and components to ensure Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) system accurately reflects min/max levels and customer demands can be met
    • Proactively meet and work with finance and manufacturing management team to ensure operational & financial performance objectives are defined, understood and achieved
    • Promptly communicate, document, and maintain product information, production schedules, and operational objectives on a daily, weekly and monthly basis and is able to update as required
    • Additional responsibilities as required by management
    Qualifications of our next Production Planner /Analyst
    • Minimum AS degree, Bachelor's preferred
    • 3+ years experience in production planning
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles 
    • Strong ERP, MS Office Suite, computer skills
    • Able to understand customer demand schedule and be proactive for such
    • Manufacturing, operations procedures, math skills, and time management
    • Able to stand for long periods of time - you will be monitoring all facets of production daily!
    • Reports to VP, Manufacturing
