Key Responsibilities:- Executing purchase orders for raw materials, components, and MRO items in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitoring supplier performance, resolving issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing, and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
- Analyzing material requirements and production schedules to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
- Developing and maintaining production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and manufacturing capacity.
- Collaborating with engineering, production, and quality teams to optimize material flow and resolving supply chain issues.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records and participating in inventory cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the procurement and planning functions.
- Preparing and presenting reports on purchasing activities, inventory status, and production performance.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in purchasing, planning, or related supply chain roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Solid experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, MFG Pro, or JDE.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a knack for stakeholder engagement.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- APICS certifications such as CPIM or CSCP
- Experience with legacy ERP systems, especially MFG Pro.
- Medical device or regulated manufacturing sector experience.
- Past involvement in projects with multi-stakeholder coordination and process improvements.
