About the OpportunityDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Buyer / Planner for a performance products company in Savage, MN. In this role, you’ll support purchasing, inventory planning, supplier coordination, and day-to-day operational activities while helping ensure product availability and accurate purchasing and inventory records. This position begins onsite with the potential to transition to a hybrid schedule once training is complete. Read below for more information!

What You'll Do as a Buyer / Planner:- Manage purchase orders and invoices while maintaining accurate purchasing records
- Review inventory levels and execute replenishment activities
- Maintain vendor communications and develop strong supplier relationships
- Coordinate with finance to ensure transactions are processed accurately
- Support forecasting and inventory planning efforts
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams regarding shipments and material availability
- Resolve purchasing discrepancies and supply issues while identifying process improvement opportunities
What You Need to Bring to the Buyer / Planner Role:- 3+ years of purchasing, buying, inventory planning, or supply chain experience
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Ability to communicate proactively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to balance inventory investment with product availability
