Position OverviewWheeler Staffing Partners is seeking
three Buyer Administrators for fully onsite opportunities in Plano, TX. This position supports the procurement and purchasing process by coordinating the flow of goods and services from requisition through delivery.
The Buyer Administrator will work closely with internal departments, buyers, suppliers, and vendors to ensure purchasing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with company policies. Responsibilities include purchase order administration, supplier coordination, procurement documentation, ERP data management, and support for contract and purchasing activities.
The ideal candidate has at least
2 years of purchasing or procurement administration experience within a manufacturing environment, experience working with
ERP systems, and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with
Epicor Kinetic, industrial breakers, sheet metal, switchgear, or power distribution equipment is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Support day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities from requisition through delivery.
Coordinate purchase requests, purchase orders, supplier information, and related procurement documentation.
Work with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements, specifications, priorities, and delivery timelines.
Assist with sourcing suppliers and obtaining information needed to support purchasing decisions.
Create, process, update, and track purchase orders within the ERP system.
Monitor order status and follow up with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, lead times, shipping, and delivery.
Maintain accurate purchasing, supplier, pricing, and order records.
Help ensure purchased goods and services are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Identify and communicate potential purchasing, supplier, or delivery issues.
Support buyers with supplier negotiations, contract administration, and vendor management activities.
Assist with evaluating supplier performance, pricing, delivery, and service.
Maintain accurate procurement data within the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Use Microsoft Excel to organize, track, analyze, and report purchasing information.
Collaborate with manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and other internal teams to address purchasing needs.
Manage multiple purchasing requests and projects simultaneously while meeting established deadlines.
Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across purchasing activities.
Provide responsive, customer-focused support to internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
Adapt to changing priorities and business requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree, technical degree, or equivalent relevant work experience.
Minimum of 2 years of purchasing, procurement, buyer support, or purchasing administration experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Experience managing purchase orders and purchasing documentation.
Ability to manage multiple projects, orders, and priorities simultaneously.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Must be able to work 100% onsite in Plano, TX, Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM5:30 PM.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Epicor Kinetic.
Experience or knowledge of switchgear or power distribution equipment.
Experience purchasing industrial breakers.
Experience purchasing sheet metal or other manufactured components and materials.
Project management experience.
Previous experience supporting purchasing or supply chain operations within an industrial or electrical manufacturing environment.
Physical Requirements
Ability to remain seated at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
