About the Role

Are you looking for your first job? The Metropolitan is hiring Part-Time Bussers to help our dining room run smoothly. This is an ideal role for students, and we welcome applicants as young as 15 years old (working papers provided). We offer set schedules that do not change weekly, allowing you to easily manage your schoolwork and extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Clear and sanitize tables promptly to ensure guests are seated quickly.
• Restock service stations with ice, clean plates, and glassware.
• Assist with closing duties, including emptying trash cans and sweeping/mopping front-of-house floors.
• Work collaboratively with the service team to maintain a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• Ability to walk and work at a brisk pace for the duration of your shift.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Availability for weekday evenings and weekend shifts (both lunch and dinner).
• No previous experience is necessary; we provide all the training you need!
