Busser/Food Runner

Introduction:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Busser/Food Runner to join our team at our busy restaurant. The Busser/Food Runner will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including setting and clearing tables, and ensuring that all areas are well-stocked and presentable at all times. The Busser/Food Runner is also responsible for delivering food to guests in the dining room and at the bar. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set and clear tables, including setting up tableware, condiments, and other amenities

• Clean kitchen equipment as needed

• Stock supplies, such as linens, napkins, and glassware

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, including sweeping floors

• Assist servers with bringing out food orders from the kitchen

• Handle customer complaints and concerns with grace and professionalism

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a busser or food runner or in a similar role is preferred

• Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 30 pounds)

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to go up and down stairs
