| Position Purpose: Prepare shipments, accept deliveries and move packages from one area to another and distribute large pieces of office equipment such as computer components and furniture. Sort incoming and outgoing mail and packages for distribution including Help Desk repair/servicing shipments. Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ years of shipping and receiving, mail processing and/or general office/administrative experience. Experience with Microsoft Office applications and the internet. Must be flexible and able to use discretion when dealing with confidential mail, co-workers and customers. Working knowledge of US Government Client and FedEx procedures and regulations strongly preferred. " Pick up and move quantities of computer equipment, furniture, and other office equipment from office to office or building to building using carts and other small moving equipment. " Distribute and collect office mail, packages, supplies, handouts, storage boxes and computer hardware. " Examine outgoing mail for appearance and proper addressing, and seal envelopes by hand or machine. " Stamp outgoing mail by hand or with postage meter, and weigh mail to determine that postage is correct. " Process and maintain records of certified mail, registered mail, express delivery mail and packages. " Manage requests via phone, email or in person for office supplies, mail, overnight delivery and equipment repair/service requests. " May fold letters or circulars, insert in envelopes, stamp and dispatch. | ||||||

| Needing to add additional pharmacy technician to shipping fulfillment team to help manage workload through ScriptMed Cloud conversion, support any remaining Cloud testing and help cover FTE leave. Current FTE is out on leave with no estimated return to work date, can be out up to 4 months. | |||||
| Typical Day in the Role | ||||||
| " Determine the best delivery method from a patient care and cost considerations " Package medications for shipment including medication, supplies and necessary paperwork " Prepare shipping labels for packages ensuring accurate and current information " Sort packages by delivery method and ensure appropriate storage until shipments leave facility " Monitor shipments to ensure prompt and proper delivery " Follow up with patients, customers and shipping vendors when necessary " Coordinate and/or complete delivery claims when necessary to delivery vendors " Coordinate, monitor and record refunds and reimbursements from claim submissions " Maintain shipping records including delivery claims, refunds, or other vendor related correspondence " Complete all documentation required for delivery of supplies and products " Obtain signature on required documentation and return them to the pharmacy " Sort and distribute incoming packages
