    Senior Associate, Valuation Advisory

    Overview

    We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a growing Valuation Advisory practice. This individual will support complex valuation engagements related to M&A, financial reporting, tax compliance, fairness opinions, portfolio valuations, and strategic decision-making. The role offers significant client exposure, analytical responsibility, and opportunities for professional growth.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform business, equity, and intangible asset valuations using DCF, public company, precedent transaction, and other accepted valuation methodologies.
    • Build and maintain financial models and conduct detailed financial analysis.
    • Support purchase price allocations, goodwill impairment testing, fairness opinions, portfolio valuations, and tax-related valuation engagements.
    • Research industries, public companies, transactions, and capital markets.
    • Prepare valuation reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
    • Participate in client meetings and help manage project timelines and workflows.
    • Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Required

    • 3-6 years of experience in valuation, transaction advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, or related fields.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
    • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement analysis skills.
    • Excellent analytical, written, and communication abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred

    • CFA, ASA, CPA, ABV, CVA, or progress toward a professional designation.
    • Experience with fairness opinions, PPAs, goodwill impairment, or portfolio valuations.
    • Familiarity with Capital IQ, PitchBook, FactSet, Bloomberg, or similar platforms.
    • Experience working with private equity firms or middle-market companies.
    • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, Python, AI tools, or related technologies.
