Supply Chain Coordinator

Bloomfield CT

Contract - 1st Shift, 5/40

Shift Schedule: 8-5 AM

Pay Range: $43.87 - $48.74/Hr.

Responsibilities: Supply Chain Coordinator

This individual will be responsible for supporting the North America Supply Chain organization with sourcing projects related to elevator components. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Support sourcing activities including RFQ/RFI preparation and analysis
• Gather drawings and technical requirements for RFQs
• Schedule technical reviews with suppliers and engineering as needed
• Submit first article inspection requests and follow up until completion
• Load supplier pricing in ERP system
• Oversee supplier readiness and material ramp up plans
• Follow up with suppliers for timely implementation
• Work with other functional departments for cadence reporting

Education: Supply Chain Coordinator

• BS or BA in business, supply chain, or engineering.

Experience: Supply Chain Coordinator

• 3-5 years in a supply chain function in a manufacturing environment
• Proven record of conducting sourcing projects and supplier negotiations
• Ability to read Engineering drawings and work with drawing databases
• Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in MS office products including Excel and PowerPoint. MS Access a plus.
• Experience using JD Edwards Supply Chain Modules a plus
• Experience in the elevator industry a plus
