    Business Systems Analyst
    Jacksonville, FL| Hybrid

    ARC Group has an immediate opening for a Business Systems Analyst with strong healthcare experience using InterSystems IRIS for Health. This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension and/or conversion to a full-time position. The role is hybrid, with 2–3 days onsite in Jacksonville, FL and the remainder remote.

    This is a key opportunity for a Business Systems Analyst who has hands-on experience with InterSystems IRIS for Health in a healthcare environment, particularly supporting transactional healthcare data, data transformations, healthcare interoperability, and FHIR transactions.

    The client's team is beginning a major transition to InterSystems IRIS for Health in Q4 2026, with the implementation and migration work continuing through the end of 2027. Contractors will play an important role in supporting this long-term initiative.

    Position Overview

    The Business Systems Analyst will support the implementation and migration to InterSystems IRIS for Health, a healthcare middleware and data platform used to manage transactional data flowing to and from payers, support database management in the cloud, and transform healthcare data between different formats and standards.

    The ideal candidate will have direct experience working with InterSystems IRIS for Health in a healthcare environment, including data transformations and healthcare transactions involving CCDA, ADT, FHIR, and other healthcare data formats.

    This individual will work closely with developers, vendors, business stakeholders, and enterprise IT teams to gather requirements, define data mappings and crosswalks, support API and integration design, develop testing strategies, and ensure successful end-to-end implementation.

    Key Project Responsibilities

    • Support the organization's transition to InterSystems IRIS for Health.
    • Analyze and document requirements for healthcare integrations and transactional data flows.
    • Work with InterSystems IRIS for Health to support healthcare data flowing to and from payers and other systems.
    • Support data transformation and mapping requirements involving CCDA, ADT, FHIR, and other healthcare transaction formats.
    • Support the design and implementation of FHIR-based APIs and healthcare interoperability solutions.
    • Develop requirements, data mappings, crosswalks, business rules, and technical documentation.
    • Analyze how data moves between systems and document the functional and technical requirements for those integrations.
    • Work with developers and integration teams to define system components, interfaces, data flows, and transformation rules.
    • Support database and data-management requirements associated with cloud-based healthcare solutions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including EDS, ForgeRock, APIC, developers, security teams, vendors, and other IT stakeholders.
    • Partner with vendors and technical teams throughout design, development, testing, migration, and implementation.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and key point of contact for assigned InterSystems-related initiatives.
    • Develop test scenarios, test cases, and test strategies for integrations, APIs, data transformations, and system components.
    • Execute and document testing and work with technical teams to resolve defects and data issues.
    • Validate data mappings and crosswalks to ensure accurate transformation between source and destination systems.
    • Identify downstream impacts to existing applications and integrations as systems are migrated to InterSystems.
    • Prepare technical documentation, process flows, data models, procedures, user guides, reports, and other project deliverables.
    • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, security, and healthcare interoperability requirements.
    • Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement throughout the implementation.
    • Build consensus and strong working relationships across Business, IT, vendors, and Business Relationship Managers.

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Hands-on experience with InterSystems IRIS for Health in a healthcare environment — REQUIRED.
    • Experience using InterSystems as a healthcare integration/middleware platform.
    • Experience supporting healthcare transactional data and data flows to/from payers or other healthcare organizations.
    • Experience with healthcare data transformation and mapping.
    • Experience working with healthcare data formats and transactions such as:
      • FHIR
      • CCDA
      • ADT
      • Other healthcare interoperability transactions
    • Experience with healthcare interoperability and APIs.
    • Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating complex business and technical requirements.
    • Ability to write simple to complex SQL queries.
    • Experience with application development, testing, and/or business/systems analysis.
    • Healthcare industry experience.
    • Experience working with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid SDLC methodologies.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Visio.
    • Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

    Required Experience

    3–5+ years of experience in application development, testing, business analysis, or systems analysis, with direct experience supporting InterSystems IRIS for Health in a healthcare environment.

    Education

    High School Diploma or GED required.

    Work Authorization

    Candidates must currently have permanent U.S. work authorization.

    Hybrid – Jacksonville, FL
    2–3 days onsite per week; remaining days remote
