Location: Columbus, OH (Remote flexibility)

Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation for teller transactions and retail banking systems
- Translate business needs into actionable functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
- Analyze application functionality, integrations, APIs, and data flows to recommend process and technology enhancements
- Support Agile teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release management
- Perform SQL-based data mining, validation, and reporting to support decision-making and operational excellence
- Partner with cybersecurity and development teams to address security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist in test planning, user acceptance testing, and production support including incident, problem, and root cause analysis
- Serve as a liaison among business units, technology teams, and third-party vendors, facilitating meetings and ensuring clear communication
- Mentor junior analysts and champion best practices in business and technical analysis
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst delivering enterprise technology solutions
- Hands-on experience with teller transactions and retail banking processes
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in SQL for data mining and analysis
- Experience working with APIs, application integrations, and enterprise platforms
- Knowledge of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies with proficiency in Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience in highly regulated industries such as financial services
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and modern software delivery practices
- Knowledge of application security, compliance, and monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics)
