Business Systems Analyst - 3640792

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Systems Analyst position! This is an 18+ month contract with potential to convert and will be hybrid on site 4 days in Buffalo, NY.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead functional requirements development for a large-scale commercial lending application upgrade initiative, managing workstreams across 67+ application integrations and defining how the new servicing platform will connect with payment systems, regulatory reporting systems, general ledgers, and deposit systems
• Drive the creation of comprehensive Functional Requirements Documents (FRDs) by collaborating with business and technology stakeholders to define integration specifications, data mapping requirements, and technical designs for complex system-to-system connections
• Serve as functional lead and subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating between multiple application teams and business units to ensure consistent approach, proper documentation, and adherence to regulatory and audit requirements
• Facilitate design discussions and technical reviews to translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, test plans, and test scripts that support enterprise-wide commercial lending operations
• Manage post-implementation support by providing clarification to development teams, coordinating testing efforts across multiple workstreams, and ensuring all teams have proper artifacts and repositories for future audits
• Coordinate project activities including scheduling team meetings, documenting decisions, tracking change requests, and ensuring project milestones are met within scope and timeline
• Partner with lines of business to gather requirements on application functionality and user experience, while ensuring technology solutions align with commercial lending products and services
• Mentor junior team members on application functionality, research analysis techniques, and project methodology best practices

What You'll Need to Have:

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role within large banking or financial services organizations, with demonstrated expertise managing complex system integrations
• Strong background in commercial lending operations and servicing applications, with deep understanding of how lending platforms integrate with payment systems, regulatory reporting, and core banking systems
• Proven ability to create well-documented functional specifications, data mapping documentation, and technical requirements for large-scale integration projects involving multiple interconnected systems
• Experience serving as functional lead on enterprise initiatives, with ability to interface effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders to translate requirements across groups
• Technical aptitude to understand data structures, data field mappings, and system integration concepts to support complex data analysis and validation
• AFS Vision platform experience highly preferred, or comparable experience with commercial lending servicing applications
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range: $54-60/hr
