Title: Business Systems Analyst 3 (N-IT)(With Procore Expertise)
Location: Vancouver, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 12-month Contract (with possible extensions up to 5 years)
Pay Range: $70.32 $73.55 per hour

The Business Systems Analyst 3 (N-IT) role supports the successful implementation, optimization, and ongoing management of enterprise technology solutions by connecting business needs with practical, scalable system capabilities. The position combines business analysis, technical configuration, requirements management, reporting, integrations, testing, process improvement, and user support to improve system effectiveness and reliability. Success in this role requires strong analytical and communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders, and the ability to translate complex needs into well-defined solutions while maintaining appropriate compliance and documentation standards.

Position Responsibilities
  • Provide business analysis expertise to evaluate business needs, define requirements, and design scalable technology solutions that support operational objectives.
  • Configure, administer, monitor, and support enterprise SaaS applications, including system functionality, user access, integrations, reporting, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Analyze product capabilities, system enhancements, technology roadmaps, and emerging functionality to develop recommendations and identify opportunities for future implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, subject matter experts, service providers, and vendors to analyze business issues, document requirements, facilitate design sessions, and develop effective solutions.
  • Translate complex business needs into detailed business, product, functional, and technical requirements while developing process diagrams and data flow models to document system interdependencies.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, analytics, data models, and other data solutions to identify trends, support business activities, and provide actionable recommendations for process improvement.
  • Manage system and integration lifecycles from discovery and requirements gathering through design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Develop proof of concepts, prototypes, business cases, and alternatives analyses to evaluate solution viability and support informed decision-making.
  • Facilitate configuration, documentation, testing, deployment, and change management activities using appropriate Agile, Waterfall, or other project methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and audit plans; identify, document, track, and resolve issues associated with system changes, upgrades, and configurations.
  • Provide training, user guidance, documentation, and ongoing technical support while promoting adoption of system capabilities and assisting stakeholders with business, process, security, and integration issues.
  • Maintain system documentation, files, records, and communications in accordance with applicable information security, information governance, compliance, and audit requirements, including appropriate access controls and record retention standards.

Position Requirements
Education & Corresponding Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in information technology, business systems or a closely related technical discipline is highly desired.
  • 8 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.
  • 10 years of experience is required with an applicable associate degree.
  • 12 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree.
  • Experience should be consistent with specific requirements of Information Technology, Business Systems, or related specialty and progressively more technical in nature.
Required Technical Skills & Experience
  • Experience with software associated with facilitation of technical contracts that support an electrical utilities plan/design/build process.
  • Technical understanding of software is sufficient to perform changes in configuration and security and to facilitate requests with product teams on system bug resolution or enhancements.
  • Technical writing skills to author, modify, or facilitate development of design specification documents, job aids, user guides, standard operating procedures, and similar materials.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
  • Experience/ability to model processes, determine requirements, analyze alternatives, and verify solutions to meet business needs.
  • Software configuration experience, with the ability to understand and validate complex setups.
  • Experience building custom reports and dashboards in Procore or similar system to support operations and drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Experience with QA/testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • Experience with Procore software from a support position/user perspective.
  • Experience in multi-tenant and/or multi-company Procore structures.
  • Project Management Professional, Certified Business Process Professional, or similar related certification.
  • Experience leading process improvement initiatives related to Utility design/construct processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical concepts, create comprehensive documentation, and articulate system impacts to both construction and business leaders.
  • Ability to develop white papers, lead design sessions, facilitate stakeholder discussions, and deliver Procore demonstrations
