Overview:
The Business Project Manager will lead cross-functional workstreams spanning operations, finance, treasury, risk, and regulatory domains — working across our global offices to deliver outcomes that strengthen the firm’s operating model, controls, and regulatory posture.
The ideal candidate brings strong project management experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and an understanding of risk or governance processes within a regulated or operationally complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multi-workstream transformation programs spanning operations, accounting, finance, treasury, risk, regulatory, and technology.
- Drive coordination across global offices, aligning regional teams against shared objectives while respecting local infrastructure, processes, and regulatory nuances.
- Facilitate senior leadership forums: build agendas, prepare pre-reads and briefing materials, capture decisions and action items, and drive timely follow-through.
- Apply effective program management techniques – i.e. structured decision-making frameworks, decision logs, and reporting tools to drive accountability across globally distributed teams operating across time zones.
- Identify and resolve risks, issues, and cross-program dependencies; escalate effectively when alignment is needed at the executive level.
- Develop clear, concise reporting for senior leadership, operations committees, and risk forums.
- Author internal communications, status updates, and stakeholder engagement materials that translate business requirements and technical detail into executive-level narrative.
What we’re looking for:
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in project management, business coordination and stakeholder engagement
- Comfortable interacting with cross-functional stakeholders, including senior-level participants.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with PM tools and technologies (e.g., Jira, Python, SQL)
- Visa sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position now or in the future
Preferred:
- Financial services or asset management industry experience, particularly in operations, finance, treasury, or risk functions.
- Conceptual fluency with operations and finance topics relevant to asset management and trading, including margin, capital, settlement, reconciliation, reference data, and P&L.
- Experience driving change within a global asset manager, hedge fund, quantitative trading firm, broker-dealer, or other complex financial services environment.
- Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving alignment across teams with competing priorities.
