- Willing to take someone just out of college with the right life science background (must be highlighted on resume to replace work experience).
- B.S. Or B.A. In Biology/Chemistry or other life sciences program.
- 2+ years experience in a Customer-Facing role within the life sciences industry.
- Must be familiar with standard and metric weight and volume units.
- Successful candidate will have strong skills in the following areas: written and verbal communications, interpersonal cross functional team based interaction, organizational and detail orientation, analytical, planning, and problem solving.
- Should also be intellectually curious and results oriented.
Job Responsibilities
- Customers will be ordering in units (milligrams, vials, kilograms, etc.) - Will need to match up packaging configurations and fill volumes.
- Support the PMO/Customs (Project Management Organization and Customs) team by drafting custom project quotes, updating the project tracking system, coordinating invoicing, providing customer and commercial project updates.
- Have a working knowledge of standard biological technologies and units of measure;buffer formulation, cell biology, chemistry.
- Good with Excel, data management, manipulation and reporting.
- Comfortable working in various database systems.
- Ability to focus, not easily distracted.
- Comfortable with change and shifting priorities.
