Business Process Analyst / Project Coordinator

Peraton is looking for a Business Process Analyst / Project Coordinator on our Voice Communications (VCS) program to support activities related to the implementation of new voice communications systems at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) air traffic control locations across the United States. The analyst will leverage data analysis, scheduling tools, and process improvement techniques to enhance scheduling efficiency, improve resource allocation, reduce operational bottlenecks, and streamline workflow coordination across teams.

Peraton is looking for a Business Process Analyst / Project Coordinator on our Voice Communications (VCS) program to support activities related to the implementation of new voice communications systems at Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) air traffic control locations across the United States. This role will report to the VCS Workstream Manager and  be responsible for coordinating and optimizing project activities, serving as a critical bridge between operational staff and management. The analyst will leverage data analysis, scheduling tools, and process improvement techniques to enhance scheduling efficiency, improve resource allocation, reduce operational bottlenecks, and streamline workflow coordination across teams.

 

Location: Herndon, VA or Bowie, MD

 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate VCS project activities
• Maintain schedules and track deliverables
• Assist with the management of meetings; awareness, and capture of status and follow-up actions
• Support communications flow, team awareness and follow up
• Maintain document controls and configuration management
• Assist with managing subcontractor activities and support
• 10% travel requirements

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• 5 years with a BS/BA, 7 years with an AS, 9 years in lieu of a degree, 3 years with MS/MA
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a public trust clearance
• Proficiency with scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate operational needs into process improvements and scheduling solutions.
• Experience developing reports and maintaining documentation for operational metrics and KPIs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively between operational teams and management.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and past experience with FAA
• Experience supporting large-scale technical programs or government programs.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies.

Target Salary Range: $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
