Description
Payrate: $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
Summary: This position is 100% remote, with any US time zone acceptable. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with experience in strategy/operations, change management, and stakeholder engagement. They should be adept at developing polished presentations, memos, newsletters, and other leadership communications, with strong PowerPoint skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders. Experience in a scientific or life sciences environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
Support the Strategy and Operations team in strategy development, execution of organizational plans, creation of organizational communications, and implementation of functional projects.
Monitor key performance indicators and business benchmarks to support leadership decision-making.
Manage departmental business processes, governance activities, and operational planning.
Develop organizational communications, executive presentations, newsletters, announcements, and leadership messaging.
Maintain SharePoint sites, FAQs, collaboration platforms, and communication channels.
Facilitate leadership meetings and cross-functional working sessions, including agenda development, meeting facilitation, minutes, and action tracking.
Support implementation of new operating models and organizational transformation initiatives.
Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Leverage digital technologies to automate processes and improve business operations.
Qualifications
Doctorate degree or Master's degree with 2 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Business Performance, or Operations.
Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience or Associate's degree with 8 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Business Performance, or Operations.
High school diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in Strategic Planning, Business Performance, or Operations.
Skills
MBA, PhD, PharmD, or Master's degree with experience in laboratory sciences or the biopharmaceutical industry.
Outstanding written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
Demonstrated change management experience leading strategic initiatives and organizational change.
Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
Experience supporting R&D organizations with knowledge of clinical development, precision medicine, biomarker development, or translational sciences.
Experience managing complex cross-functional programs and business operations.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Experience developing executive presentations and business performance dashboards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Advanced digital literacy with Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Smartsheet, Tableau, Power BI, Miro, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong collaborative relationships across organizations.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $60.00 - $65.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
