    About the Role:

    As a Business Operations Manager, you will be responsible for planning, managing and directing business operations for a division within the GWS Local AMS business, supporting FM operations, project management, finance, commercial, contract administration, licensing, and data reporting.

    What You'll Do:

    • Create, manage and implement training program(s), business processes and system training program(s).
    • Support and communicate policies, procedures and initiatives to ensure consistency across the business.
    • Encourage collaboration to share knowledge, best practice and process improvements across the division and AMS business.
    • Identify and implement innovations to enhance performance of the business units and support functions.
    • Partner with business teams and departments to identify and implement organizational best practices.
    • Support the transitioning of new accounts; offering guidance in the financial and technology system.
    • Contribute to the implementation of new Operations, Finance, Commercial and/or Procurement procedures to the Business Unit teams, including the development of training materials.
    • Support the buildout and maintenance of SharePoint and document management sites for Local AMS.
    • Lead the new business unit implementation process.
    • Support people engagement and account DE&I objectives, promoting and maintaining CBRE culture.
    • Prepare data reports for financial and other business metrics.
    • Analyze trends to identify opportunities to improve financial and commercial performance.
    • Maintain finance system data; ensuring the BU BOMs and Contract Support team are delivering accurate processing of quotations, purchase orders, service orders and client and vendor invoicing.
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day‐to‐day functions of finance systems and provide training where needed.
    • Advie and support the recruitment of BOMs and Contract Support at the BU and Account level.
    • Support the onboarding and training of BOM's & Contract Supports.
    • Organizes coverage for absences within the Business Operations Managers team; stepping in where needed to fill in gaps.

    • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university.
    • Minimum of five years of related experience or minimum of six plus years' experience including four years of management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous supervisory experience required
    • Ability to:
    • Comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents.
    • Write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.
    • Create effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
    • Motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
    • Solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
    • Analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
    • Utilize analysis of others and make recommendations.
    • Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles with the ability to calculate complex figures, forecast, prepare budgets and conduct financial/business analysis.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.
    • Knowledge of Financial software systems is advantageous (e.g. PeopleSoft, Dynamics).
