    About the Position

    Kid's Thrive Dayton is seeking a dedicated and organized Business Office Manager to join our team. This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and business operations of the facility while supporting staff, families, and leadership to ensure an efficient and positive experience.

    The ideal candidate is a highly organized professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Oversee daily business office and administrative operations.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records, documentation, and facility information.
    • Support billing, accounts receivable, collections, and other financial processes.
    • Coordinate insurance and payer-related administrative activities as applicable.
    • Assist with payroll, timekeeping, and employee administrative processes.
    • Maintain personnel and confidential business records in accordance with company policies.
    • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, employees, and visitors.
    • Work closely with facility leadership and clinical teams to support smooth operations.
    • Monitor office processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
    • Assist with compliance, audits, reporting, and other administrative requirements.
    • Handle incoming calls, correspondence, and general office inquiries.
    • Support employee onboarding and other HR-related administrative activities.
    • Maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized business office.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by facility leadership.

    Qualifications

    • Previous experience in a business office, healthcare administration, medical office, or related environment preferred.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
