Really!Our motto: Leading with integrity, empowering people, delivering outcomes.About the RoleThis hybrid role combines Business Office/Billing functions with Human Resources operations, making you a key liaison for both residents and employees. You'll oversee financial processes related to patient accounts while also serving as a trusted HR resource for our team.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Office & Billing OperationsManage all private-pay, copayment, and share-of-cost collectionsCollect payments from residents or family members (cash/check)Set up and manage payment plans when neededEnsure insurance information is accurate, current, and properly enteredAssist with new admissions by verifying insurance and facility acceptanceCommunicate clearly with residents regarding copays and billing timelinesSupport accounts payable and accounts receivable processesWork within PointClickCare and other facility systemsHuman Resources & Employee SupportOnboarding & TrainingWelcome and onboard new hires, completing all required documentation (DACS, E-Verify, etc.)Ensure new employees attend orientation and complete required trainingTrack ongoing annual and semiannual training requirementsDay-to-Day HR OperationsServe as the primary HR contact for employeesMaintain an accurate and up-to-date employee rosterAssist with PTO requests, missed punches, and payroll approvalsSupport disciplinary processes and terminations with professionalism and compassionAssist employees with workplace injuries and workers' compensation processesBenefits & InsuranceAssist employees with benefits enrollment (medical, dental, vision, etc.)Distribute benefits materials and answer general questionsCoordinate enrollments, deductions, and changes with corporate HR/payrollWhat We OfferComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer-matching 401(k) retirement planUp to 16 days of paid time off annuallyCompany-paid life insuranceA supportive, collaborative, and people-centered workplaceA role where your work truly makes a differenceWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent1+ year of business office, billing, collections, or HR-related experience(SNF experience strongly preferred)Strong knowledge of healthcare insurance (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, Hospice)PointClickCare experience highly preferredStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsAbility to read, speak, and understand English fluentlyPositive attitude, flexibility, and a desire to improve systems and support peopleIf you're looking for a role where you can support employees, advocate for residents, and help a facility run smoothly, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and join the Meadow Brook Rehab & Nursing family.
