    Job Summary:

    Supervises and coordinates the operations of business office team members in the primary areas of accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory control, human resources support and special financial reporting required by the community and Pinnacle Living.

    Work Performed

    Job Duties (Essential)

    • Oversee accounting and business office financial operations - manage accounts receivable/accounts payable, route vendor invoices for approval, complete journal entries, and understand financial statements.
    • Manage resident billing and payment processing - prepare monthly resident statements, distribute rate increase letters, post resident charges, and cash receipts, and deposit cash/check payments.
    • Coordinate Business Office administration and supervision - supervise or coordinate Business Office personnel, maintain resident and payroll files, develop ad-hoc reports, assist with move-in paperwork, and provide team member supervision as directed.
    • Oversee HR and Payroll Operations - Manage day-to-day Human Resources and payroll processes, including records, policies, employee documentation, benefits, onboarding, and HR systems.
    • Ensure Legal and Regulatory Compliance - Research and address HR compliance issues and ensure adherence to federal/state laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, OSHA, EEOC, workers' compensation, and Department of Labor requirements.
    • Provide Employee Relations & HR Support - Advise employees, supervisors, and directors on HR policies and practices; resolve workplace conflicts; support employee counseling, leave matters, and other personnel issues.
