Job Description
We are seeking a Sr Product Owner to join our dynamic team within Global Markets Technology. The role will interface with central Business Management, Governance, Finance, and Operational Risk teams and will focus on headcount, resource, and vendor management, as well as operational risk and audit tracking. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in forecasting, procurement and vendor processes, and executive reporting, and a proven ability to coordinate across globally distributed teams to deliver accurate metrics, financials, and resourcing outcomes.
Start and Logistics
- Start: ASAP. Expected start 2-4 weeks after offer, aligned to a specific business date.
- Approved work location: Jersey City, NJ (NJ2-525-18-01).
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.
- Glider Candidate ID Verification required.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary interface to Business Management, Governance, Finance, and Operational Risk for headcount, resource, and vendor management.
- Manage vendor processes including A/P, invoice processing, payment status tracking, and SOW run-rate forecasting.
- Coordinate operational risk, compliance activities, and audit status reporting across applications and programs.
- Build and maintain executive-ready reports, dashboards, and presentations for CTO-level reviews.
- Partner with technology managers to plan and forecast resource allocations and hiring needs, including on-boarding and off-boarding processes.
- Reconcile organizational reporting and metrics with central GMRT team outputs and tools.
- Capture and maintain organizational metrics including project KPIs, financial forecast vs. actuals, and resource plans.
- Act as coordinator between corporate governance and project managers to align on cross-LOB tracking tools and standards.
- Support ad-hoc requests for executive meetings, business presentations, and corporate communications.
- Collaborate with globally distributed teams to gather inputs and deliver consolidated reporting.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrated resource management and forecasting experience across large technology portfolios.
- Vendor management and procurement expertise, including SOWs, invoicing, and A/P processes.
- Strong metrics and reporting background with executive-level presentation capability.
- Intermediate to advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills for analysis, forecasting, and storytelling.
- Intermediate SharePoint skills for workflow, portals, and data repositories management.
- Superior business acumen with strong problem solving and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a collaborative approach.
- Self-motivated, organized, and delivery focused with effective time management.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience supporting CTO or senior technology leadership reporting cycles and QBRs.
- Background in Global Markets or enterprise technology governance environments.
