We are looking for an operational anchor—a sharp, proactive Business Manager to take ownership of our front end. You will be the engine that keeps our sales moving, our paperwork tight, and our jobs getting paid on time.

You don't need 10 years of corporate management, and you don't need to know our specific industry on day one (we’ll teach you our products and systems). But you do need to know how to work. What Sets Our Ideal Candidate Apart

We don't care if your background is in construction, sales, bookkeeping, or running a small business. We care about how you operate:

• You run toward uncomfortable calls, not away from them. If a client owes us money, you call them. If a quote is languishing, you follow up. You deal with problems head-on before they turn into fires.
• Your follow-through is absolute. "I'll look into it" means it gets done. Period. Unfinished tasks bug you until they are closed out.
• You have extreme situational awareness. You notice when something is off—a missing timecard, a forgotten COI, or an unbilled job—and you fix it without being asked.
• You are firm, fair, and unflappable. You handle tough customers, vendor mistakes, and payment reminders calmly and professionally without taking things personally.

What You'll Own (End-to-End Front-End Operations)

• Closing the Loop on Sales: Respond to inbound inquiries, aggressively follow up on open quotes, and keep our pipeline active through persistent, friendly outreach.
• Job & Construction Paperwork: Track active jobs, contracts, purchase orders, change orders, COIs, and lien waivers. Keep the paperwork flowing as fast as field operations.
• Financial Foundations & Billing: Manage invoicing, accounts payable, receivables, and collections in QuickBooks. Keep our records clean and cash flow steady.
• Operational Accountability: Audit timecards, verify payroll accuracy, and hold vendors/staff accountable to deadlines.

What You Bring to the Table

• 2+ years of real-world experience in office management, construction administration, customer service, bookkeeping, or project coordination.
• Comfort on the phone and experience dealing directly with clients.
• Strong computer skills, solid MS Excel ability, and a knack for picking up software quickly.
• High attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple deadlines without dropping the ball.

Huge Pluses (Not Requirements):

• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
• Exposure to construction, trades, or manufacturing environments.
