Description
Amazon is seeking a Corporate Counsel to join our North America Operations Legal (NA Ops Legal) team. This role will focus on serving as the dedicated legal partner for our AMXL (Amazon Extra Large) and NACF Traditional Non-Sort business lines, providing strategic counsel at the intersection of supply chain operations, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management. As the single point of legal contact for senior business leaders across both organizations, you will drive speed of decision-making and build deep trust with the operators you support - with the opportunity to shape legal strategy for two of Amazon"s fastest-evolving fulfillment networks.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal counsel to senior business leaders on a broad range of legal and business matters.
- Identify, assess, and manage legal risks across multiple business lines and jurisdictions.
- Develop and implement legal strategies that support business objectives while mitigating risk.
- Advise on regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and emerging legal issues.
- Draft and negotiate complex, commercial agreements.
- Lead cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels.
- Contribute to the development of legal policies, processes, and best practices.
