Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will enable intelligent business decisions through the design and development of Power BI dashboards, analytics solutions, and data models that provide actionable insights for stakeholders.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Business Intelligence Specialist Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop, test, document, and support the deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports through agile sprint delivery.

• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective Power BI reporting solutions.

• Design and build dashboards that track portfolio health, KPIs, financial performance, value realization, risks, and program execution metrics.

• Create and maintain Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, calculations, relationships, and reusable reporting frameworks.

• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and accuracy checks across Jira, financial, operational, and adoption datasets.

• Support data integration, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, documentation, knowledge transfer, and continuous dashboard enhancements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, data analytics, or reporting solutions.

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, DAX, Power Query, semantic modeling, dashboard development, and data visualization.

• Experience integrating and analyzing data from Jira, financial systems, ERP/PLM platforms, and governed enterprise datasets.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
