We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Specialist to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida (US-FL), United States (US).

Job Description:
Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain Palantir Foundry pipelines based on business requirements, production issues, and data-processing needs.
  • Add or modify input stream pipelines to support changes to existing streams and onboard new data streams.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain User-Defined Functions (UDFs) required for data transformation and business logic.
  • Implement and update ABD business rules within rules-processing pipelines.
  • Publish ABD passing events and alerts to Kafka topics for downstream applications and integrations.
  • Analyze pipelines, datasets, and processing results to identify and resolve issues found during testing and validation.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures, data-quality issues, transformation problems, and streaming-data discrepancies.
  • Merge approved pipeline and UDF changes into the master branch and manage code changes through the development lifecycle.
  • Promote/copy master-branch pipelines from the staging environment to production following established deployment procedures.
  • Deploy and replay pipelines as required for releases, data corrections, rule changes, and production support.
  • Validate pipeline and data outputs after deployments to ensure changes are functioning as expected.
  • Maintain the rules metadata spreadsheet with the latest rules information from Oracle.
  • Perform technical analysis and solution design for new requirements, including proof-of-concept or trailblazing activities where needed.
  • Coordinate with external/upstream teams regarding changes to input streams, schemas, and data interfaces.
  • Work closely with the CSX Palantir Support team to deploy and validate pipelines in the staging environment.
  • Collaborate with business, development, testing, and support teams throughout development, testing, deployment, and production-support activities.
Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)
  • Minimum 1+ years hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry, including development and maintenance of data pipelines.
  • Minimum 1+ years' experience developing and supporting batch and/or streaming data pipelines.
  • Minimum 1+ year's Experience developing or modifying UDFs and data-transformation logic.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Kafka, including publishing data/events to Kafka topics.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases such as Oracle.
  • 5+ years of experience om implementing and maintaining business rules and rules-processing pipelines.
  • 5+ years of experience with Git/source control, including branching, merging, and master/main branch management.
Travel: Preferred location is Jacksonville, FL. Occasionally needs to visit client office at Jacksonville Florida

Degree: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Nice to Have; (But not a must)
  • Experience with advanced Palantir Foundry capabilities, including streaming pipelines, dataset management, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience designing real-time/event-driven architectures using Kafka.
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases, metadata management, and rule configuration.
  • Experience with CI/CD and automated deployment processes for data pipelines.
  • Experience with pipeline replay, backfill, recovery, and production-support activities.
  • Understanding of data quality, data validation, lineage, and monitoring concepts.
  • Experience conducting proof-of-concepts and technical design/trailblazing for new requirements.
  • Experience coordinating upstream and downstream data contracts, schema changes, and stream integrations.
  • Familiarity with enterprise-scale data platforms and high-volume data-processing environments.
  • Ability to independently investigate ambiguous technical requirements and recommend scalable solutions.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $75 to $87. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
