Akkodis is seeking a Business Intelligence QA II for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for owning and maintaining regression test suites, automating test workflows, and providing actionable quality insights through test reporting and telemetry-driven monitoring.
Rate Range: $60/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Business Intelligence QA II Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable test automation frameworks for health sensing features on watchOS and iOS platforms.
Own and execute regression test suites, analyze test results, and provide timely feedback to engineering teams on product quality and performance.
Build and enhance testing infrastructure, including automation environments, test labs, and device management systems to support efficient test execution.
Automate testing, triaging, and reporting workflows using Python, Shell scripting, and telemetry-driven monitoring solutions.
Investigate, diagnose, and debug complex software and hardware issues, driving root cause analysis and contributing to post-mortem reviews.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to improve test coverage, quality metrics, failure analysis capabilities, and overall product reliability.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of experience as an SDET, Automation Engineer, or Quality Engineer supporting software, firmware, and/or hardware products.
Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks using Python, Shell scripting, and industry-standard testing methodologies.
Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex hardware-software systems, manage regression testing efforts, and leverage telemetry, dashboards, and quality metrics to drive product reliability and performance improvements.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $65.00 per hour
