Summary of Job Description

The BI Developer position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops high quality and high performance reports and dashboards using PowerBI.
  • Evaluates dashboards created by other departments and improves performance and optimizes design.
  • Builds ETL pipelines for data extraction and transformation.
  • Understands various business processes within the company and communicates with data and information consumers across the company to collect data, reporting, analytics requirements.
  • Collaborates with other members within data services, analyst, data engineering, lead, etc. and across IS, e.g. PMO to design the optimal data and BI solutions and deliver them on time.
  • Collaborates and communicates through effective speaking, listening, and teamwork.
  • Documents processes, model design, and methodologies to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Follows all standards, processes, and guidelines to create quality solutions.

Your Background and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Math, Physical Sciences, or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years of relevant experience, preferably in a retail/hospitality environment.
  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.
  • Obtaining a valid Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range: P2, $86,000 - $121,000 Annual. Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
