Position Purpose

The Business Integration Manager supports the Director, Business Integration in planning, coordinating, tracking, and documenting acquisition integration activity from diligence through stabilization. This role is responsible for bringing structure, detail, follow-through, and visibility to integration work so the Director and VP can lead governance, decision-making, stakeholder alignment, and value realization effectively.

TAIT is a complex, global organization operating across multiple markets, capabilities, regions, legal entities, and business models. Successful integration requires disciplined execution and reliable information flow. The Manager helps translate the business integration strategy into actionable workplans, milestone trackers, meeting cadences, reporting materials, risk logs, and follow-up routines.

This role functions as a hands-on execution partner to the Director and VP by maintaining the details, coordinating across workstreams, preparing materials, tracking open items, escalating risks, and ensuring leaders have clear visibility into progress, dependencies, decisions, and next steps.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Planning and Execution Support

  • Support the Director in converting diligence findings, integration priorities, and leadership decisions into detailed workplans, milestone trackers, and execution calendars.
  • Maintain integration plans, timelines, dependency maps, owner lists, and status trackers across active integration workstreams.
  • Coordinate inputs from Finance, People, Culture, Legal, GTS, Commercial, Operations, Marketing, Procurement, and other functional teams to keep plans current and complete.
  • Track Day 1, stabilization, and longer-term integration actions to ensure required activities are visible, sequenced, and followed through.
  • Prepare materials for integration checkpoints, kickoff sessions, workstream meetings, and leadership meetings under the Director's guidance.
  • Track integration budget inputs, one-time cost estimates, resource needs, and synergy or value-related milestones as requested.
  • Track people, change-management, and business-continuity actions (such as critical talent, customer relationships, project delivery, and revenue protection) within the integration plan in support of the Director and People leaders.

Governance Coordination and Follow Through

  • Support the Director's integration governance process by preparing agendas, documenting decisions, capturing action items, and following up with owners between meetings.
  • Maintain trackers covering risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions, including owners, due dates, status, escalation needs, and resolution paths.
  • Monitor open items and upcoming deadlines, send reminders to responsible owners, and surface delays or gaps to the Director in a timely manner.
  • Maintain organized records of key decisions, approvals, handoffs, and workstream outputs.
  • Support development of a scalable TAIT integration framework covering diligence, pre-close planning, Day 1, stabilization, execution, value realization, and transition, including drafting and maintaining the core playbook tools.
  • Help continuously improve TAIT's integration tools, templates, workplans, reporting routines, and repeatable practices

Cross Functional Communication and Status Reporting

  • Prepare clear, concise status updates, progress summaries, dashboards, and presentation materials for the Director's review and use with executive leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Help create a single source of truth for integration documentation, including plans, trackers, reporting packages, meeting materials, RAID logs, and lessons learned.
  • Coordinate with functional workstream leaders to gather status updates, confirm progress, identify blockers, and clarify ownership.
  • Support integration communications by preparing drafts, talking points, meeting notes, and follow-up materials aligned with the Director's guidance.
  • Maintain the touchpoint plan and coordinate logistics, agendas, and materials for summits and recurring meetings with acquired-entity leadership.
  • Escalate issues, delays, conflicting priorities, or unclear ownership to the Director with enough context to support timely decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations, organizational leadership, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of experience in program management, business operations, integration, mergers and acquisitions, or business transformation.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, complex timelines, multiple workstreams, and senior stakeholder updates.
  • Familiarity with M&A processes, integration terminology, diligence, post-close execution, and value-tracking concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to maintain plans, trackers, RAID logs, meeting notes, action registers, and executive-ready status materials.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while managing details, deadlines, competing priorities, and follow-up with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex information clearly for different audiences.
  • Experience in a global, matrixed, project-based, operationally complex, entertainment, live events, or related business environment is preferred.
