About the Role


The Frank Gonzalez Insurance Agency is seeking an experienced, highly motivated Business Insurance Producer to grow our agency through relationship based sales and proactive business development. This is not an ordertaking position. We are looking for a true producer who enjoys networking, prospecting, asking for referrals, and building long-term client relationships.


The ideal candidate already has experience selling business insurance, understands the value of cross-selling, and is comfortable creating opportunities through referrals, networking, cold outreach, and community involvement.

Salary Range: $40000.00 - $65000.00 per year

Responsibilities

Generate new commercial insurance opportunities through prospecting and networking.

Sell Business Owners Policies (BOP), General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers' Compensation, Professional Liability, Commercial Property, Inland Marine, and Umbrella coverage.

Build and maintain relationships with local business owners.

Develop referral partnerships with:

Realtors

Mortgage lenders

CPAs

Attorneys

Payroll companies

HR consultants

Business consultants

Chamber of Commerce members

Conduct commercial insurance reviews and identify coverage gaps.

Cross-sell personal insurance products when appropriate.

Ask every satisfied client for referrals.

Attend networking events, chamber meetings, BNI, trade shows, and other community business events.

Prospect daily through phone calls, walk-ins, referrals, email, and networking.

Maintain an organized sales pipeline and document all prospecting activities in AgencyZoom.

Meet or exceed monthly production goals while providing exceptional customer service.


Requirements

Active Texas General Lines Property & Casualty License

Minimum of 2 years of commercial insurance sales experience

Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and coverages

Proven ability to prospect and generate new business

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills
