A bit about us:

Our client is a nationally recognized immigration law firm with a multi-decade track record advising corporations, startups, universities, hospitals, and research institutions on complex U.S. immigration matters. With offices on the East Coast, the firm has built a reputation for creative problem solving on some of the more difficult cases in the field — from extraordinary ability petitions to sponsorship strategy for organizations with large, distributed workforces. The team blends deep legal expertise with a client service model built around responsiveness and practical business judgment, and it continues to grow its caseload across a wide range of employment-based categories.

Why join us?

This is an opportunity to build a career at a firm where immigration law is the sole focus, not a secondary practice area. Associates get exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes matters from day one, working directly alongside seasoned partners rather than being siloed into narrow task work. The caseload spans multinational employers, high-growth companies, and individual professionals and investors, giving associates broad exposure to different visa categories and client types early in their careers.

The culture is described by current staff as collaborative, with leadership that is genuinely responsive to feedback on workload and process. Compensation is competitive with the market, and the firm invests in developing associates into long-term contributors rather than treating the role as a revolving door.

Job Details

J.D. and active license to practice law (or eligibility to sit for the bar in the relevant jurisdiction)
Prior experience with employment-based immigration petitions strongly preferred, including categories such as H-1B, L-1, TN, PERM labor certification, and adjustment of status
Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to translate complex fact patterns into clear, well-supported filings
Comfort managing a high-volume caseload with competing deadlines
Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with corporate clients, government agencies, and cross-functional internal teams
Detail-oriented approach to case tracking and documentation
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-based practice model
