Position Specific Summary
The Business Enterprise Compliance Specialist I position at the City of Tucson's Business Department assists with routine tasks by applying repetitive regulations, clear guidelines and best practices for the City of Tucson's Small Business Enterprise Program (SBE) and the Federal Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program (DBE).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor''s Degree
Work Experience: No years of directly related experience.
Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years of experience in performing small business development, contracting, construction management and/or construction trades.
Special Instructions: The National Highway Institute Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Certification must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire / prior to the completion of the probationary period and must be maintained throughout employment in this position.
