    Position Summary

    The Business Development Representative (BDR) - ShopPulse is responsible for driving new business growth by identifying, prospecting, qualifying, and engaging repair shops, fleet maintenance operations, and transportation organizations that can benefit from ShopPulse. This role combines outbound business development, inbound lead management, relationship building, and virtual product demonstrations to generate qualified opportunities and support revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a motivated, results-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping customers improve shop efficiency, workflow, and profitability through innovative SaaS solutions.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking activities.
    • Qualify inbound and outbound leads by conducting discovery conversations to understand customer needs, challenges, and buying intent.
    • Conduct consultative virtual demonstrations and effectively communicate the value of ShopPulse to prospective customers.
    • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by identifying, nurturing, and advancing qualified opportunities through the sales process.
    • Manage and maintain accurate prospect, activity, and opportunity records within HubSpot CRM.
    • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to improve lead generation efforts, campaign effectiveness, and opportunity conversion.
    • Develop expertise in ShopPulse, industry trends, and customer challenges to position solutions effectively and build credibility with prospects.
    • Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly goals for sales activities, meetings booked, pipeline generation, opportunity creation, and revenue growth.
    • Participate in sales meetings, pipeline reviews, training programs, trade shows, and other business development initiatives.
    • Represent Noregon and ShopPulse professionally while building strong relationships with shop owners, fleet operators, service managers, and other decision-makers.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, inside sales, sales development, or customer-facing roles.
    • Experience within SaaS, technology, fleet maintenance, transportation, automotive, or repair shop industries is strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated success in prospecting, pipeline development, lead qualification, and revenue generation.

    Additional Qualifications

    • Proven ability to build rapport and establish trust with business owners and decision-makers.
    • Strong prospecting, cold-calling, and consultative selling skills.
    • Experience using CRM platforms, preferably HubSpot.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication tools.
    • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management abilities.
    • Self-starter capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
    • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping businesses improve operational performance.
    • Positive, coachable attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

    Physical Requirements

    • Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
    • Frequent use of telephone and video conferencing platforms.
    • Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds.
    • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and perform routine office activities as needed.

    Travel Requirements

    • Approximately less than 10% travel.
    • May include attendance at customer visits, company meetings, and training events.
