Identify, pursue, and close new customer accounts throughout the assigned Atlanta market.
Own the complete sales cycle from initial prospecting through contract execution and operational handoff.
Generate new business through cold calling, jobsite visits, networking, referrals, trade events, and relationship development.
Build and maintain a robust qualified pipeline of opportunities across all stages of the sales process.
Maintain a qualified pipeline equal to approximately 5x quota.
Own and exceed individual new-revenue goals for the assigned region.
Develop and execute regional growth strategies to increase market penetration and revenue.
Conduct discovery conversations focused on customer safety risks, liability exposure, OSHA compliance, operational challenges, and financial impact.
Communicate the financial, operational, compliance, and life-saving value of effective fall-protection solutions.
Position the company as a trusted safety partner rather than simply a vendor.
Displace inferior or non-compliant alternatives by demonstrating stronger value and safety outcomes.
Identify opportunities to introduce additional safety solutions within existing customer relationships.
Develop long-term relationships with contractors, builders, project leaders, safety professionals, and other key decision-makers.
Maintain accurate and timely CRM documentation throughout the sales process.
Collaborate with operations to ensure a seamless handoff following each closed sale.
Provide Accounting with signed contracts, scopes of work, customer information, and required deal documentation to support timely invoicing and project setup.
Respond promptly to questions regarding deal terms, customer information, or documentation.
Independently manage territory priorities, customer activity, prospecting, and follow-up.
3+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales experience.
Proven success in outbound prospecting and new-business development, rather than primarily account management.
Demonstrated ability to own and close the complete sales cycle.
Experience closing mid-sized to large sales opportunities.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong cold-calling and proactive prospecting skills.
Strong discovery, negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities.
Comfortable conducting in-person jobsite visits and engaging customers in field environments.
Strong relationship-development skills with the ability to establish long-term customer trust.
Experience using CRM systems and maintaining a disciplined sales pipeline.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and self-direct sales activity without micromanagement.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Valid driver's license.
Construction sales experience.
Building materials or building-products sales experience.
Fall protection, PPE, industrial safety, or jobsite safety experience.
Experience selling scaffolding, access equipment, equipment rental, roofing, drywall/framing, HVAC, mechanical services, or commercial construction services.
Experience within adjacent industries such as industrial field services, fire protection, security systems, facilities maintenance, environmental health and safety, or risk management.
Existing relationships within the Atlanta construction market.
Track record of exceeding quota in a hunter-focused, outbound sales position.
Experience selling consultatively around safety, compliance, risk, liability, or operational outcomes.
Safety or construction-related certifications are beneficial but not required.
Base Salary: $75,000–$90,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: $120,000–$140,000 OTE with uncapped commission.
