    Business Development Representative
    We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to grow our restoration and reconstruction services through new business development, strategic partnerships, and long-term client partnerships. This role is responsible for managing the full business development cycle from identifying opportunities and building relationships to coordinating proposals, closing opportunities, ensuring a smooth project handoff, and maintaining relationships after completion.
     
    Job Responsibilities
    • Develop and grow business relationships with property managers, contractors, real estate professionals, businesses, and other referral partners.
    • Generate, qualify, and manage business opportunities through networking, cold calling, referrals, community outreach, presentations, and ongoing relationship development.
    • Manage the full business development cycle from initial contact and opportunity identification through customer engagement, proposal/estimate coordination, closing, project handoff, and post-project follow-up.
    • Promote and educate customers and referral partners on water mitigation, fire/smoke mitigation, mold remediation, storm damage, and reconstruction services.
    • Maintain and grow existing accounts through consistent communication, follow-up, customer service, and identification of additional business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with restoration operations team to ensure customer expectations, project information, and business opportunities are effectively communicated and transitioned.
    • Track sales and business development activities, maintain accurate records, meet established growth goals, attend networking/community events, and represent the company professionally. 
    Qualifications
    • At least 5 years of experience in business development.
    • Previous experience in business development, or account management preferred; restoration and construction experience of at least 2 years is a plus. 
    • Strong communication, networking, relationship building, negotiation, and presentation skills
    • Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven with the ability to manage the full business cycle and multiple opportunities independently.
    • Strong follow-up, time management, problem solving, and customer service skills with a high level of accountability.
    • Comfortable with prospecting, cold calling, client visits, presentations, networking, and closing business opportunities.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other business development tools.
    • Professional appearance and positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer service and company representation
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel throughout the assigned service area and attend occasional evening/weekend networking events
    Schedule
    • Monday – Friday 08:00am-05:00pm – Willing to be on call/respond to emergency calls 24/7
    • Flexible schedule based on customer and business needs
    • Occasional evening/weekend events or networking opportunities may be required
    Pay
    • Starting at $58,000 + commission with company-paid cell phone, gas milage reimbursement, and additional company benefits/perks
    • Salary, Exempt
     
    Location: Northern Indiana/Southern Michigan, currently focused on Elkhart, St Joseph, and Kosciusko Counties
