Are you looking to break into sales with a fast-growing software development company with a dynamic culture in Des Moines, IA?
We Write Code is looking for a polished and ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to focus on generating new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying leads and conducting targeted outreach such as cold calling, emailing and social selling. You will act as the top-of-the funnel “hunter” who identifies leads and schedules meetings for Sales Executives to close.
What you'll do:
- Prospect & Research: Identify potential clients, and research target industries and companies to find qualified leads.
- Outreach: Execute high-volume cold calls, personalized emails, and LinkedIn outreach to engage potential customers.
- Qualification: Assess inbound leads (marketing-qualified leads) and identify pain points to determine if a prospect is a good fit for our products or services.
- Set Meetings: Scheduling discovery calls, demonstrations, or meetings for senior sales staff.
- Manage and document within CRM: Updating and organizing client information and activity in the company CRM.

Who you are:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree plus previous internship or entry level sales experience (preferably in a technical environment).

Location:
This role is located in Des Moines, IA. It is an in-person role that has a minimum three days in the office (Mondays and Thursdays required).
