Business Development Representative (BDR)

ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly organized, personable, and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support top-of-funnel growth initiatives across our expanding equity compensation organization. This role is focused on outbound engagement, inbound qualification, and appointment setting. The primary objective is to create qualified meetings and opportunities for the sales team while helping build scalable business development processes across CRM and sales engagement platforms. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-written, presentable, systematic in their approach, and excited about long-term career growth
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Use prospecting and intent-data platforms (Apollo.io or similar) to identify and engage high-intent target accounts and contacts
Work and qualify marketing-generated leads from webinars, gated content, conferences, inbound inquiries, and campaigns
Conduct outbound outreach via email, phone, and LinkedIn
Schedule meetings for the sales team
Support outreach to prospects, clients, and COIs (Centers of Influence)
Maintain accurate activity and lifecycle tracking within CRM
Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales leadership
Help evolve and improve business development processes and SOPs

IDEAL CANDIDATE:
At least 4+ years of experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Comfortable working within systems, processes, and CRM-driven workflows
Experienced with outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and appointment setting
Demonstrated ability to break through crowded inboxes and connect with executive-level prospects through phone, email, LinkedIn, and other channels
Familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms
Experience using Apollo.io, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, intent data, or similar prospecting technologies
Professional, personable, and confident communicator
Self-starter with a growth mindset and strong sense of accountability
Interest in financial services, equity compensation, stock administration, or B2B SaaS is a plus
Willingness to attend conferences and industry events
Some Travel for Industry Conferences required

Comfortable collaborating with our European BDR team to share best practices and support global growth initiatives
Ideally brings experience within the equity compensation, incentive management, financial services, HR technology, or adjacent industries
