Position Title: Business Development Manager (Builder Development)
Location: Territory-Based / Local & Regional Travel
Compensation: Competitive Base Salary + Performance Incentives (OTE Approximately $150,000)
Travel: Approximately 40–60% Local & Regional Travel

Key Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and secure new builder relationships throughout the assigned territory.
- Expand business within existing builder accounts by uncovering additional communities, developments, and projects.
- Build trusted relationships with builder owners, executives, project managers, and key decision-makers.
- Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, jobsite visits, industry events, and market research.
- Develop proposals, conduct presentations, negotiate contracts, and close new business.
- Position cabinetry solutions as a competitive advantage over incumbent providers.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of both new business opportunities and account expansion projects.
- Monitor regional construction activity, builder expansion, and competitive market trends.
- Collaborate closely with design, estimating, and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer handoff after the sale.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience within construction, building materials, cabinetry, or related industries.
- Proven success developing new business and acquiring new customer accounts.
- Experience selling to residential builders, contractors, or developers preferred.
- Demonstrated history of exceeding revenue and sales targets.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated hunter with excellent prospecting and networking abilities.
- Comfortable managing a territory and working independently.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)
- Existing relationships within the residential home builder market.
- Experience selling cabinetry, millwork, windows, doors, flooring, roofing, or other building products.
- Knowledge of residential construction processes and builder purchasing cycles.
- Experience managing both new business development and strategic account growth.
- Strong executive presence with builders, developers, and construction leadership.
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Competitive (Based on Experience)
On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: Approximately $150,000 through performance-based incentive compensation.
