Business Development Mgr - Steel Erector

Grow market share for an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector focused on Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons. This permanent full-time Business Development Manager position pays $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives and includes Midwest travel.

Core work

• Generate steel erection opportunities with general contractors and owners
• Plan pursuit strategy on structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
• Monitor upcoming bids, competitor moves, and Midwest forecasts
• Travel across the Midwest to deepen accounts and advance awards
• Serve as a trusted representative of an AISC-certified Michigan erector

You likely have

• BD or sales experience in steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• Experience competing for large Midwest tonnage work
• A network among general contractors, fabricators, or owners is helpful
• Comfortable traveling the Midwest
• Persuasive communicator with follow-through
