If you know steel construction and like winning big work, an AISC-certified Michigan steel erector wants to hear from you. It's hiring a permanent full-time Business Development Manager to secure Midwest projects of 5,000+ tons, paying $100,000-$200,000 per annum plus bonus incentives with Midwest travel.

The work

• Pursue steel erection opportunities with general contractors and owners across the Midwest
• Lead pursuit planning for structural steel packages of 5,000+ tons
• Act as the face of an AISC-certified Michigan erector with clients and industry groups
• Track the Midwest project pipeline, bid timing, and competitor activity
• Travel the Midwest to grow accounts and close pursuits

About you

• Background in business development or sales for steel erection, structural steel, or heavy construction
• Proven success on large-tonnage Midwest pursuits
• Network of general contractors, fabricators, or owners preferred
• Ready for regular Midwest travel
• Excellent communicator who consistently closes
