Position Summary
The Business Development Manager (Outside Sales) drives revenue by selling managed IT, cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance services to clients in the field, managing key accounts, and expanding business through prospecting, presentations, and relationship building. This role involves market analysis, strategic planning, and consistently hitting sales targets while ensuring client satisfaction and retention. This individual is expected to be a professional, energetic, hands-on partner who is able to work independently with little or no supervision, representing with credibility and integrity across assigned market.

Essential Functions
Developing and Executing the Sales Plan: Execute the agreed-upon sales plan, including cross-selling and upselling of services to new and existing clients.
Prospecting & Sales: Identify new leads, contact potential clients, conduct product demos, and attend trade shows.
Account Management: Build strong client relationships, understand their needs, and ensure satisfaction with tailored solutions.
Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies, analyze market trends, and identify opportunities.
Reporting & Communication: Generate sales reports, track performance, and communicate with management and internal teams.
Product Expertise: Effectively communicate product features and benefits and assist clients with product selection.
General Duties and Responsibilities
Handle inquiries and requests from internal and external customers and address their needs.
Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget and meet their needs.
Meet with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
This role will be exposed to highly confidential internal and client information and will be subject to additional confidentiality requirements.
